Mother Earth is a common expression for the planet Earth in a number of countries and regions, which reflects the interdependence that exists among human beings, other living species and the planet.

International Day For Mine Awareness

International Day for Mine Awareness at Marwah Studios

“On 8 December 2005, the General Assembly declared that 4 April of each year shall be observed as the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations and President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation addressing young media persons at Marwah Studios.

It called for continued efforts by States, with the assistance of the United Nations and relevant organizations, to foster the establishment and development of national mine-action capacities in countries where mines and explosive remnants of war constitute a serious threat to the safety, health and lives of the civilian population, or an impediment to social and economic development at the national and local levels.

This year the 12 UN entities working on mine action are promoting the work of women in mine action. The efforts of women make mine action work more efficient and effective. Women must be empowered in all societies to be a part of important activities, including at all stages of mine action: from surveying mined areas, to deciding where to begin clearance, to conducting mine risk education and post-clearance development initiatives.

1st March Zero Discrimination Day Observed at Marwah Studios

“1st March has been declared as the Zero Discrimination Day by the United Nation, and this time the aim is to remove TB and HIV from the society” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization at Noida Film City while addressing the media persons.

International Mother Language Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios

“Languages are the most powerful instruments of preserving and developing our tangible and intangible heritage” said Sandeep Marwah President World Peace Development And Research Foundation & Ambassador of IHRO on the International Mother Language Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios.

“ All moves to promote the dissemination of mother tongues will serve not only to encourage linguistic diversity and multilingual education but also to develop fuller awareness of linguistic and cultural traditions throughout the world and to inspire solidarity based on understanding, tolerance and dialogue” added Marwah while addressing the media persons.

International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 1999.

In 1984, the Government of India declared and decided to observe the birthday of Swami Vivekananda i.e. 12 January, as a National Youth Day every year from 1985 onwards. ‘it was felt that the philosophy of Swamiji and the ideals for which he lived and worked could be a great source of inspiration for the Indian Youth” Marwah added.

Acharya Satinder President World Religious Parliament, Chandrakant Patil of World Peace Development And Research Foundation, Ashok Nagpure Guinness Book Record Holder and Brahm Prakash of Radio Noida also spoke on the occasion.

International Migration Day Observed at Marwah Studios United Nation Information Centre

“At the High-level Dialogue on International Migration and Development in October 2013, Member States unanimously adopted a Declaration in which they recognized the important contribution of migration to development and called for greater cooperation to address the challenges of irregular migration and to facilitate safe, orderly and regular migration” stated Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization & President World Peace Development And Research Foundation on launching the poster for the day.

The Declaration also emphasized the need to respect the human rights of migrants and to promote international labor standards. The Declaration strongly condemns manifestations of racism and intolerance and stresses the need to improve public perceptions of migrants and migration.

The event was attended by students, faculty, media persons of Asian Education Group including Sanjeev Kumar of Asian News Agency, Fashion Designer Namita Bansal of Designer Hut, Rajnish Sharma and Abhiruchi Chauhan of School from Merrut.

Noida 10th Dec. 2013 “The UN General Assembly proclaimed 10 December as Human Rights Day in 1950, to bring to the attention ‘of the peoples of the world’ the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as the common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations” informed Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.

Sandeep Marwah educated the media students of Asian Education Group consisting of AAFT, ASMS and ASC at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City that Human Rights is recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family which is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.

Further Sandeep Marwah said that everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.

He condensed that it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations, people and their communities of any kind.

Anti Corruption Day Observed at Marwah Studios

“Corruption is a complex social, political and economic phenomenon that affects all countries. Corruption undermines democratic institutions, slows economic development and contributes to governmental instability” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation & Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.

Corruption attacks the foundation of democratic institutions by distorting electoral processes, perverting the rule of law and creating bureaucratic quagmires whose only reason for existing is the soliciting of bribes. Economic development is stunted because foreign direct investment is discouraged and small businesses within the country often find it impossible to overcome the “start-up costs” required because of corruption added Marwah talking to Media persons at Noida Film City.

The General Assembly of United Nations designated 9 December as International Anti-Corruption Day, to raise awareness of corruption and of the role of the Convention in combating and preventing it.
