Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Marwah said, “The Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum under the banner of ICMEI is doing exceptionally well and has been conducting a large number of meaningful events, screenings, seminars, and cultural interactions to bring the people of Iran and India closer together.”

He further added that cultural diplomacy plays a vital role in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting mutual understanding between nations. ICMEI remains committed to fostering greater collaboration between the creative communities of India and Iran.

Dr. Marwah wished His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Fathali continued success in his diplomatic mission and conveyed his best wishes for peace, prosperity, and progress to the people of Iran on their National Day.

On the joyous occasion of the National Day of New Zealand, celebrated on 6th February, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his warmest congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Patrick John Rata, High Commissioner of New Zealand to India, and to the wonderful people of New Zealand.

Dr. Marwah conveyed his sincere greetings on behalf of the entire fraternity of ICMEI and the Indo New Zealand Film and Cultural Forum. He emphasized the strong and friendly ties shared between India and New Zealand and appreciated the continuous efforts made by the High Commission in further strengthening bilateral relations.

While addressing the members of the forum, Dr. Marwah stated, “The Indo New Zealand Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI has been consistently working towards developing and promoting cultural diplomacy between our two great nations. Film from Trinidad “Yatra – The Journey of the Indian Presence in Trinidad and Tobago” Honoured at 14th GFJN & AVGC Noida. Such as The film “Yatra – The Journey of the Indian Presence in Trinidad and Tobago” from Trinidad & Tobago wasceremonially opened at the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026 by H.E. Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of Trinidad & Tobago to India. The special screening celebrated the deep historical and cultural ties between India and Trinidad & Tobago.

The Director of the film, Anita Chandradath Singh, was also present on the occasion, adding significance to the event. The film beautifully portrayed the journey, heritage, and contribution of the Indian diaspora in Trinidad & Tobago and warmly appreciated by the audience.

The screening was formally inaugurated by H.E. Abdullah Mohammad Abu Shawesh, Ambassador of Palestine to India. Russian Documentaries Honoured with Award of Distinction at 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026.  Two remarkable Russian documentary films showcased and honoured with the prestigious Award of Distinction during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026.

The films included “St. Petersburg – Life in the City” directed by Ashot Dzhazoyan, and “Rostislav Zhuravlev – Russian War Correspondent” directed and produced by Inna Tanashova. Both documentaries received great appreciation from the audience for their powerful storytelling and strong journalistic content.

The screening of the films formally inaugurated by Ms. Vera Gerasimova from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in New Delhi.
