Noida, April 1, 2025 – The Trade Office of the Embassy of Vietnam, in collaboration with ICMEI- Indo Vietnam Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI – International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry   successfully organized a seminar on Vietnam–India Collaboration on Cross-Border E-Commerce at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The event was supported by the World Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) and GTTCI-Global Trade & Technology Council of India.

The seminar brought together prominent government officials, business leaders, and industry experts from both countries to discuss emerging opportunities and strengthen bilateral cooperation in digital trade.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder & Chairman of Marwah Studios, inaugurated the seminar. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of Indo-Vietnamese ties and highlighted the crucial role of technology in enhancing cross-border commerce. Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counsellor, Embassy of Vietnam, welcomed the guests and underscored the growing significance of e-commerce in building resilient trade partnerships between the two nations.

Key presentations and discussions included Opening Address by Mr. Do Quoc Hung, Deputy Director General, Department of International Market Development, MOIT (Vietnam), outlining Vietnam’s long-term trade vision. “India’s Role in Enhancing Digital Trade”, presented by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President, GTTCI, focusing on collaborative e-commerce initiatives.

Insights on SME Growth and Trade Facilitation by Dr. Sanjiv Layek, Executive Secretary, WASME. Vietnam’s E-Commerce Landscape & Potential, presented by Ms. Pham Thanh Huong, MOIT (Vietnam). Industry Perspectives from Mr. Shantanu Srivastava (MD & CEO, Ishan International Ltd.), Mr. Neeraj Singhal (President, Indian Industries Association), and other business leaders.

The event featured an engaging Q&A session addressing regulatory frameworks, technology adoption, and trade facilitation strategies. It concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Hoang Thi Yen from the Trade Office, Embassy of Vietnam, followed by a networking lunch.

Later Dr Sandeep Marwah presented Life Membership of International Film and Television Club of AAFT to Mr. Do Quoc Hung, Deputy Director General Department of International Market Development Vietnam.The seminar marked a significant step toward deepening economic collaboration between India and Vietnam through digital platforms and cross-border e-commerce.

Noida, India – In a grand show of solidarity, the Asian Unity Alliance, under the dynamic leadership of its Global President Dr. Sandeep Marwah, celebrated Asian Unity Day on 2nd April with remarkable fervor and participation from across the continent. “These Cultural Centres are not just symbols, they are dynamic hubs of exchange, education, and engagement. They stand as powerful reminders that collaboration in arts and culture can lead to deeper political and economic alliances,” added Dr. Marwah.

The event featured powerful talks by Mukul Chabra, Bhushan Garware, Kena Shree, Dahekk, Dr. Vega Singh, Samriddhi Uniyal, and Kompal Kapoor—each bringing a unique perspective shaped by their journey and achievements.

Dr. Vega Singh, an MBBS graduate turned professional bodybuilder and fitness coach, inspired with his journey from medicine to muscles, stressing the importance of discipline, health, and self-confidence. Samriddhi Uniyal, a creative artist and content creator, narrated her path of crafting compelling digital content and urged students to embrace creativity in the age of social media.

Kompal Kapoor, a New York-based fashion influencer and content creator, addressed the global impact of digital branding and personal image in the fashion industry, encouraging students to use their voice and style with purpose.

The event was highlighted by the screening of his celebrated short film ‘Champaran Mutton’, which has received widespread appreciation for its powerful narrative and authentic portrayal of rural India.

Following the screening, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT and Marwah Studios, presented Ranjan Umakrishn Kumar with the prestigious Life Membership of the International Film and Television Club of AAFT, in recognition of his remarkable contribution to Indian cinema and short films as a storytelling medium.

Ashish K. Noida, India : The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with the Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum, extended a warm welcome to a distinguished delegation from Armenia at Marwah Studios, led by Ms. Nvard Chalikyan of the Applied Policy Research Institute, Armenia.

The visit marked a significant step towards enhancing cultural, cinematic, and media cooperation between India and Armenia. During the interaction, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of ICMEI, expressed a strong commitment to working collaboratively with Armenian film, media, art, and cultural organizations. New Delhi, India : Celebrating the vibrant spirit of Indian art, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University, inaugurated a grand group painting exhibition titled ‘Frames of Freedom’ at the prestigious AIFCS Gallery, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. Noida, India : The Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT), in collaboration with the Indo-Italy Film and Cultural Forum, organized a special workshop and documentary screening featuring acclaimed Italian police officer and endurance athlete Paolo Venturini at Marwah Studios.

The session was attended by students of Mass Communication and Journalism, who were captivated by the screening of a powerful documentary showcasing Paolo Venturini’s international achievements, including his record-setting endurance run at Ladakh, one of the highest and most challenging terrains for human rehabilitation on Earth.

Following the screening, an engaging Q&A session allowed students to interact directly with Paolo Venturini, who shared insights into his training, discipline, and experiences as a global sports personality and police officer.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, commended Paolo’s extraordinary journey and emphasized the importance of such inspirational figures in motivating youth. “At AAFT, we believe in holistic learning, and bringing real-life heroes to our students bridges the gap between classroom theory and the real world,” said Dr. Marwah.
