ICMEI President Sandeep Marwah Extends Congratulations to Burundi on Independence Day

New Delhi, 1st July 2024: Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Brigadier General Aloys Bizindavyi, Ambassador of Burundi, and the people of Burundi on the occasion of their Independence Day.

In a statement issued today, Mr. Marwah acknowledged the significance of this day for the people of Burundi, marking 62 years since the nation gained independence from colonial rule. He highlighted the resilience, determination, and spirit of the Burundian people in their journey towards freedom and development.

“On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency Brig. General Aloys Bizindavyi and the people of Burundi on this momentous occasion of their Independence Day. This day is a testament to the enduring strength and unity of the Burundian people. He further emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and cooperation between India and Burundi, noting the role of media and entertainment in fostering mutual understanding and friendship. Mr. Marwah expressed his commitment to enhancing collaboration between the two countries through various initiatives and programs led by ICMEI.
