TThe mission of the International Film and Television Research Centre of AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television) is to foster research, analysis, and critical discourse in the field of film and television. We aim to generate knowledge, insights, and academic contributions that deepen the understanding and appreciation of the art, history, and cultural impact of films and television shows from around the world.

Our vision is to be a leading international research center dedicated to advancing the study and analysis of film and television. We strive to be a hub for scholars, researchers, and students, providing a platform for intellectual exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the production of high-quality research in the field.

We aim to promote and facilitate academic research on various aspects of film and television, including film theory, aesthetics, cultural studies, industry analysis, audience reception, and historical and contextual studies.
