Marwah Studios Hosts Prayer Ceremony for Shivaji Maharaj’s Statue Installation in Tokyo
Noida, India – In a moment of cultural pride and unity, Marwah Studios became a significant part of the grand initiative to install a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Tokyo, Japan. The project, supported by the Indo-Japan Film and Cultural Forum (IJFCF) of ICMEI, witnessed a special prayer ceremony at Marwah Studios, attended by Dr. Sandeep Marwah along with over 100 devotees and dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed his pride in being associated with such a prestigious initiative, stating: “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy of courage, leadership, and vision continues to inspire millions. It is a great honor to contribute to this cultural bridge between India and Japan.”
As a part of the ongoing Indo-Japan Shivaswaraj Rath Yatra, a grand reception was organized at Marwah Studios in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, marking another milestone in strengthening India-Japan cultural relations.
The statue, a remarkable 450 KG structure with a height of 8.5 feet, is crafted from special steel and fiber coating material, ensuring durability and artistic grandeur. The historic unveiling of the statue is set to take place on March 8, in the presence of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan.
The initiative symbolizes the deep-rooted cultural and diplomatic ties between India and Japan, honoring the spirit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on an international platform.
