Mohammed Rafi Remembered at Marwah Studios on His 44th Death Anniversary

Noida: “Music can change the world because it can change people. Music is the shorthand of emotion. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life,” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, as he inaugurated a musical program organized by the AAFT School of Music. The event commemorated the 44th death anniversary of the legendary Indian singer Mohammed Rafi.

The evening was marked by a wonderful musical extravaganza presented by the talented students of AAFT. Their performances captured the essence of Mohammed Rafi’s timeless music, bringing his iconic songs to life and enchanting the audience.

One of the highlights of the evening was the participation of Dr Er. Rajainderr Jaina, a well-known businessman, social worker, writer, and art promoter. Jaina spoke eloquently about Mohammed Rafi’s monumental contributions to the music industry, highlighting his creation of over 7000 songs in numerous languages. In a heartfelt tribute, Jaina also performed several of Rafi’s songs, much to the delight of the audience. His surprise performance was met with resounding applause in the packed auditorium at Marwah Studios.

The event was not only a celebration of Mohammed Rafi’s musical genius but also an opportunity to honor the artists who continue to keep his legacy alive. Later, all the participating singers and musicians were honored with awards by the AAFT School of Music. These awards recognized their dedication to the craft of music and their efforts in perpetuating the rich musical heritage left behind by Mohammed Rafi.Sandeep Marwah presented Life Membership of International Film and  Television Club of AAFT to Dr. Er. Rajainderr Jaina.

Sandeep Marwah expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the performers and attendees, stating, “Mohammed Rafi’s music transcends generations and continues to inspire countless artists and music lovers. Today’s event is a testament to his enduring legacy and the power of music to unite and uplift us.”
